    The Abuelita's tacopillas are amazing! The service was fantastic. The salsa and nachos grande were also very good. One nachos grande and three tacopillas more than fed 6 people. Definitely a great place to stop!

    Took awhile to be seated, the waitress said the ran out of what I wanted to order, tried the chicken fried steak and it tasted like a microwave dinner. Our waitress never checked on us. There was a younger girl that was pretty nice and helpful. She's the only reason I didn't rate a one star.

    This is a quaint place with great New Mexican food. It is a local place so you see all kinds of people in there, which we love. The waitress was very good with explanations and tips for all the food. My enchiladas were great and wife's tacos were unique and very tasty. The sopapillas were outstanding.  This place has tons of comfort food.
    Can't wait to go back.

    I would like to commend the cooks and staff at Abuelita's for an outstanding meal. The food was great and the enchilada plate that I had was outstanding with squash cooked perfectly and zesty green chili sauce. The egg on top was the crowning glory for one of the best meals I've had in quite awhile. My wife and extended family enjoyed walking through and inspecting the items for sale as well. If your looking for a local place with great food, friendly staff at a reasonable price in the south valley give them a try.

    Extraordinary food with generous portions. The owner and all the staff are friendly, helpful and made me feel right at home.

    Their Tacopia is a magical marriage of a taco and a sopapilla. OMG! Their flan, unbelievable. I needed a quiet corner to recover after enjoying its sweetness.
